Questions

What am I agreeing to?

You’re giving us permission to film, photograph, and share your story across VibeSociety platforms and affiliated media, including social media, editorial features, and future projects.

Where will this be used?

Your content may appear on platforms like The Chicagoan, VibeSociety, and our other media brands, as well as on social media, websites, and in promotional or sponsored content.

Will I be paid for this?

No. Participation is completely voluntary and unpaid. This is about sharing your story and being part of the platform.

What name will you use?

We’ll use the name you provide as your preferred name for the feature. Your full legal name is only used for consent and will not be published.

Can I stay anonymous?

This platform is about showing up as yourself and being part of something real. We feature people by name because that’s how connection happens. If you’re not comfortable being identified, this may not be the right fit; and that’s completely okay.

Privacy settings

This site has no advertising or analytics tags. It loads nothing from other companies until you allow it, here or on a film or photograph.

Needed for the site to work (always on)

Your choice on this page, the Grid or Index view you pick on Work, and the transition between pages are kept in this browser only. Messages you send through a contact form are stored by the studio so it can reply.

Films (and any moving hero background) play from Vimeo, and a location map opens from Google Maps. When they load, those companies receive your IP address and browser details and may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies. Films are requested with Vimeo's "do not track" setting.

Your choice is kept in this browser for six months (with its date and the version of this notice, and no identifier), then you are asked again. Withdrawing removes their players and photographs from the open page; cookies they set earlier stay in your browser until you clear them there.
